Florida's Drivers Education for Teens: DHSMV-Required Drug and Alcohol course
STATE APPROVED FOR FIRST TIME DRIVERS. Offered online is the driver license test that all new drivers are required to pass, as well as the mandatory Traffic Law Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) course. The TLSAE course may also be called a "drug and alcohol course" or "first time driver course", and is required by Florida Statute for anyone seeking to obtain a Florida license who has never held a license in the State of Florida or in any other state or qualified jurisdiction.
Basic Driver Improvement (BDI)
If you just received a traffic ticket for a moving violation or were ordered to take a TCAC class, you can keep points off your driving record and prevent an increase in your auto insurance premium by taking the four-hour course online.
